Sylvester's in Trouble

Sylvester, Gerald's Volvo with 200,000+ miles, is having some naughty vibrations. Thus, this coming Saturday is reserved for locating Sylvester's vibrator. I might change the oil in Jill. We'll see. I have free tickets to small Fastball concert at 8 in Annandale.

A Quickie

On Saturday, Nov. 8, I went to work in the morning to catch up on some little stuff. Late in the afternoon, I was finally able to make it down to the shop and changed Jade's oil relatively quickly. That was it.

A Pleasant Day

On November 1, Gerald and I met down at the shop.

Gerald got the transfer case and transmission out of the woody.

I had to replace one wheel stud on the back left wheel of Jade (the Nissan). It got stripped when I got the flat, new Pirelli plugged. The guy put the plugged tire on the back and the back on the front, and in the process of pulling the back tire, the lug stripped the stud. So, there I am. After replacing the lug (which was pretty easy, after pulling the caliper and rotor), I swapped the tires on the left side, so now both Pirelli's are in the back.
